TB12 Spotlight: Daniel Pareira

“I WAS OFTEN PRONE TO NAGGING MUSCLE INJURIES, BUT SINCE COMING TO TB12, MY BODY HAS NEVER FELT BETTER AND MORE READY TO COMPETE DAY IN AND DAY OUT.”

As a senior at Norton High School, Daniel Pereira was an all-star, a team captain, and a state champion. His next season, he was a freshman defender for the Stonehill College Skyhawks who went 7-10 and missed the playoffs.

Failure presents a new challenge for him — learn to overcome failure and disappointment and turn that into motivation.

But after his freshman season, he suffered an ankle injury. A friend recommended that he schedule a session at TB12 if he wanted to come back fully healthy in time for the preseason. So in June 2017, he attended his first session.

“It changed my whole perspective on my body, training, and performance; I’ve never regretted my decision to adopt this lifestyle for even a second,” Daniel says. “College soccer is so demanding on my lower body. My work on pliability, hydration, and holistic training has been the sole reason I’ve been able to stay on the field and injury-free.”

Now, more than a year later, Daniel continues sessions at TB12 so that he can stay on the field and help his team make a playoff run.
